The Blonde Bombshell Wine

Making Of The Label:
Blonde Bombshell Brought to Life

Once the concept of Blonde Bombshell was complete, it was time to bring her to life. An artist named Stephen Purnell was enlisted for the job. Stephen spent a great deal of time researching and studying vintage pulp art and movie posters for inspiration. The artist also spent some time digging through classic pin-up posters to help with casting the model for the label. We wanted beauty, mystery, charm and spellbinding looks.

Once a model was found, she was brought in and photographed. Stephen Purnell chose to model himself as the men you see on the bottle. Drawing on the photography and inspiration from research, Stephen set about painting the label. Everything on the label was hand painted, with a touch of computer retouching. The end result is a knockout label that practically leaps off the shelf. Jeff Booth, the evil genius who created the wine was thrilled with the finished bottle. A genuine thriller.
